Little Jill loved animals. The animal she loved the most was not a cat or a dog or cat or a budgerigar, but a pony. She longed for a pony to call her own and one day, on her seventh birthday, her father called her out of the house and there she saw it.The most beautiful pony ever!
Little Jill was so happy! She christened him Cottonpuff. She rode on it everyday. She bathed it everyday. She groomed it everyday. She slept with it every night.
They were inseparable and soon they were the talk of the county. They even appeared on the cover of the most esteemed Kingfisher Illustrated Horse and Pony Encyclopedia. Their rapture seemed to last forever.
But one day, Cottonpuff had enough. He felt that Jill was dragging him down. He wanted to go solo and did not want to be with Jill anymore. She was cramping his style. So he broke up with Jill and tried to make it on his own.
His first album was a dismal failure. He soon got trapped in a web of drugs and alcohol. Too egotistic to run back to little Jill, he further got lost in his dredge of sin. After he would not admit of making another pony pregnant, he jumped in front of an oncoming train and died.
Moral of the Story: Get a cat.

Amusing fiction, but how can you tell whether the animal on the cover is male or female? Heheh..
ps. word verification sucks.
By getting a copy of Kingfisher Illustrated Horse and Pony Encyclopedia. *rolls eyes*
What?! Are you saying that Cottonpuff was caught sleeping with other little ponies? Is that it? Well, I feel like I must clear the air: he did not, I repeat, DID NOT sleep with that pony. He slept with Michael Jackson's monkey's chauffer. Case solved.
What!!! You're... right! THat makes absolutely common sense! *slaps forehead*
